Founding Partner & Director

Anna Aguilera
Lawyer
A lawyer who graduated from Universidad Humanitas in Mexico City, with prior legal training of five years at the Escuela Libre de Derecho. She holds a diploma in Real Estate Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, as well as having completed Real Estate Law I and II courses taught by the College of Notaries of Mexico City.
She has over 15 years of experience in the legal and commercial real estate sectors. Since the age of 25, she has identified real estate as her true calling, focusing her professional development exclusively on this industry.
She is a certified real estate appraiser in Mexico, specializing in both commercial and judicial matters.
In the corporate sector, she served as legal liaison between the management of the Legal-Litigation area of HSBC Mexico and its fiduciary division. Subsequently, she was an attorney at CLUBS DESARROLLA (Grupo Questro), a company specializing in the development of high-value residential club projects.
She was part of the legal team at ABILIA, where she simultaneously participated in several iconic, large-scale real estate projects, including residential, corporate, commercial, rental housing, and mixed-use developments. From 2016 to 2018, ABILIA's legal department was recognized as a member of the "Top 50 Mexican Legal Teams" by The Legal 500.
Currently, she is a founding partner and director of Coeficiente Inmobiliario, a firm through which she collaborates with investors, developers, financial institutions, construction companies, engineers, architects, designers, and property owners, offering a comprehensive, strategic, and specialized legal perspective in the real estate sector.

Pablo Retes
Lawyer
A lawyer from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (Free School of Law), he completed postgraduate studies at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., USA; he holds a diploma in Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the International Chamber of Commerce and the Escuela Libre de Derecho (Free School of Law); and a Commercial Mediation Course from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University in California, USA, taught through the JAMS Mediation Training Institute.
Professionally, he was a founding partner of González Alcocer, Retes y Asociados, S.C., and is currently its managing partner. He served as Deputy Legal Attaché to the Attorney General's Office in Washington, D.C., U.S.A. He served as Legal Director of Fianzas Monterrey, S.A.; Executive Director of the Rafael Preciado Hernández Foundation, A.C.; and founder and director of the Mexican Mediation Center, S.C.
In academia and teaching, he has taught at various educational institutions in the country, such as the Escuela Libre de Derecho, the Universidad Latinoamericana, and the Universidad Iberoamericana, teaching Philosophy of Law, Insurance and Surety Bonds, Introduction to the Study of Law, Constitutional Law, Insurance and Surety Bonds, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is currently a full professor of the Insurance and Surety Bonds Diploma and the Alternative Dispute Resolution module at the Escuela Libre de Derecho. He has also served three times as vice president of the Mexican Association of Insurance and Surety Rights.

Rosa Linda Amezcua
Lawyer
Lawyer graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho, specialist in administrative, environmental and human rights law, with more than 20 years of experience in the public sector, international organizations and independent professional practice.
She has a solid track record at the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the Environmental and Territorial Planning Attorney's Office of Mexico City (PAOT), and international organizations such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). She has participated in the analysis, design, and implementation of legal frameworks, public policies, and regulatory criteria in environmental, energy, urban, and human rights matters, both nationally and internationally.
Her experience includes providing legal support in complex institutional decision-making processes, developing criteria for interpreting regulations, evaluating regulatory impacts, and monitoring national and international commitments related to governance, sustainability, and the rule of law.
She holds a Master of Laws degree from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (completed studies) and a Master's degree in Legal Argumentation from the University of Alicante. He complements his professional practice with teaching and legal research, which allows him to contribute a strategic, technical and up-to-date vision in advising individuals and legal entities, as well as in high-impact public and private projects.

Salvador Rivas
Architect
An architect focused on helping his clients achieve project success. His 25 years of experience executing various types of projects in Mexico and abroad, collaborating in key positions at some of the most internationally recognized firms such as Foster+Partners, HKS, and HOK, have allowed him to develop a proven architectural design methodology, which is recognized and recommended by his clients.
He is an architect from the Universidad Veracruzana, Master in Architectural Design from University College London, Certified Architect by the Royal Institute of British Architects, and since 2017 Founder and Director of S*ARC: Salvador Rivas Architects, with a portfolio of projects in multiple typologies such as mixed uses, hospitality, residential, offices, aviation and urban infrastructure, being the first RIBA Chartered Practice firm in Mexico and LATAM and listed as one of the RTF Top 50 Mexico City Firms.
He has had notable participation in projects such as the Xalapa Concert Hall, Mexico (1998), BBVA Bancomer Competitions, Mexico City (2007); Biometropolis Campus, Mexico City (2009); Saqqara Mixed Uses, San Pedro Garza, Mexico (2011-present), New Mexico International Airport - Texcoco (2017). And currently with his firm S*ARC in urban planning projects of up to 290 Ha in Bajío, Mexico and Mixed Use projects of up to 215,000 m2 in different locations.
